Therapy

Individual Counseling

We provide individualized assessments, expert evaluations, therapeutic strategies, and discreet consultations aimed at enhancing your mental wellness, joy, and personal ambitions in life.

Don’t allow the opinions or actions of others steal your joy, peace, and happiness. You can’t change others. You can only work on you, and you'll be better for it because none of us are perfect. As far as the others go, don't judge others unless you be judged.

We assist both children and adults with spiritual guidance, personal growth, self-worth, behavior modification, stress & anxiety management, ADHD, impulse control, emotional difficulties, grief, practical life skills, health concerns, life obstacles, and parental support.

Family Counseling

Our counselors strategically focus on love, knowledge, and communication as keys to bringing families together as they heal from broken hearts, hurt feelings, and deep wounds of the past.

First step: You must take care of yourself before you can take care of others.

Our services include Family Counseling, Child and Adult Behavior Modification, Parent Counseling, Evaluations, and Education, Domestic Violence Counseling, Evaluations, and Education, Substance Abuse Counseling, Evaluations, and Education, Trauma-Focused Therapy and Education, and more.

Couples Counseling

Focused on "Obtaining the Love that YOU deserve from YOUR Relationship". Reignite affection while addressing issues, forgiving one another, and cherishing the fond memories.

Couples pursue counseling for various reasons, including power dynamics, emotional wounds, lingering resentment, communication difficulties, sexual dissatisfaction, and infidelity. Our emphasis is on love and communication, which are two of the most essential elements for building and sustaining a relationship.

Religion

Religion is a matter of personal preference. Individuals often adopt a religion based on their cultural background or a personal inclination to incorporate spirituality into their lives.

We challenge the stigma that says religion should not be mixed with counseling. We believe that when religion is the foundation of a person's belief system, it should be incorporated to achieve ultimate joy, peace, and happiness within the soul of that person. For that reason, we choose to give you the right to have that foundation as a part of your counseling services or not.

Just to be clear, our therapists WILL NOT be using traditional practices such as prayers, rituals, and ceremonies during their services. They will only be using their knowledge of your belief system to help and get to the root of your mental and emotional needs.

Group counseling is often rewarding to clients because they are able to join a group of people who are similar to them and realize they are not alone in the mental struggles that they are having in life.
Group counseling is a self-pay service that Counseling Services United offers to clients. We DO NOT take insurance for group counseling.
The group leaders are often Master Level Therapists studying to be licensed in the field and are not qualified to bill for insurance yet. They will state it if they are licensed professional counselors and/or social workers who are able to take insurance.
